Outdoor furniture in central North Carolina has to handle humid summers, heavy rain, pollen season, and enough winter cold to matter.
Garner offers comparatively more square footage per dollar, so the common question is how to fill larger rooms without overcrowding them. Garner homes often have more generous room dimensions and garage access than closer-in Triangle towns, which widens the range of pieces that fit but makes scale judgment more important.
We are a family-owned store at 3921 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703, and Garner customers are served out of that one 50,000-square-foot showroom. Garner sits southeast of the showroom, generally I-40 to US-70 or NC-42. Everything below reflects how we actually operate, including the parts that limit what we can promise.
Measure First, Shop Second
Before comparing outdoor pieces, settle a few things about the room itself. These questions decide whether a piece works, separately from whether you like it.
· whether the space is covered, partly covered, or fully exposed
· where cushions will live off-season
· how the material handles sustained humidity
· how much of the year the space actually gets used
In a larger Garner room, the risk is under-scaling; a piece that looked right in a smaller space can read as undersized.
What to Compare in the Showroom
Our outdoor selection covers weather resistance, materials, and off-season storage. In the showroom you can compare these directly:
· outdoor sets
· outdoor sofas, sectionals, and loveseats
· outdoor chairs, benches, and stools
· outdoor dining and side tables
· fire pits, outdoor rugs, and accessories
What Happens After You Buy
· We ask for 24 hours before any delivery change, since the route and crew are already committed.
· Expect a designated day and about a three-hour window, with some variation on longer routes.
· Local delivery is handled by our own crew and trucks, typically six days a week.
· Delivery pricing varies with the destination and the contents of the order rather than a flat rate.
· With White Glove Delivery the crew brings items indoors and into the room, assembles them, and removes the packaging.
· Orders need to be paid in full before we can put a delivery or pickup on the calendar.
Two constraints are worth flagging up front. If a hallway, doorway, or stairwell makes maneuvering genuinely unsafe, the piece is set in the nearest suitable room and final placement is yours. Disposal of the piece being replaced is not part of delivery, so handle it before the truck arrives.
Have the route clear inside and mention any exterior obstruction ahead of time so the day is not lost. Secure children and pets while the crew is working, and check the order for accuracy before they leave.
Book a pickup appointment; that is how the team makes sure everything is ready to go. Garner customers face a longer return drive, so pickup makes most sense for pieces that fit securely in a closed vehicle. Vehicle measurements matter, as does bringing straps and a second pair of hands; loading is the customer's responsibility.
Up to 60 days of free storage is available from point of sale, after which unarranged items may go to Restore.

Timing, Financing, and Warranty
On timing: many items are in stock and available for immediate or same-day delivery or pickup. Special orders vary with manufacturer availability, holidays, and custom work; the team can give a clearer estimate at or before point of sale.
On assembly: factory-direct items need minimal light assembly and arrive with instructions, hardware, and basic tools; delivery crews assemble and remove packaging.
On financing: we work with Snap, Synchrony, and Wells Fargo, with options for a range of credit types with monthly payments, subject to approval and each program's terms. Snap advertises approval decisions in seconds and lease-to-own amounts up to $5,000. We accept financing, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or cash.
On coverage: everything sold carries a manufacturer warranty, which varies by manufacturer, and an optional 5-year protection plan is available, priced by what is covered.

Frequently Asked
Can outdoor furniture stay out year-round here?
Frames rated for full exposure often can; cushions generally should not. Plan cushion storage before buying, since that is the detail most people underestimate.
My Garner rooms are larger than what I had before. How do I avoid getting the scale wrong?
Mark the actual footprint on the floor with tape before you shop, then compare that outline to full product dimensions rather than to the category name. Larger rooms usually reveal under-scaled furniture faster than they reveal oversized furniture.
When is the best time to buy outdoor furniture?
Earlier in the season generally means better selection. Because outdoor stock is seasonal, calling ahead about a specific set is especially worthwhile late in the year.
What holds up best in North Carolina humidity?
Materials rated for full outdoor exposure, and cushions with quick-dry construction and solution-dyed fabric. The bigger variable is whether the space is covered; an uncovered patio is considerably harder on furniture than a screened porch.
Is there a charge if the truck cannot reach my house?
If the residence is not accessible to the delivery truck, moving the furniture from the truck to the home becomes the customer's responsibility. Flagging a narrow drive or access restriction when you schedule usually avoids the situation entirely.
